Accessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to read about this treatment, complete an intake, and receive care here, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
1. Our commitment
vaginalestrogencreamonline.com is operated by Midwest Mind & Body Healthcare LLC. We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities, and we improve this site continuously.
We treat accessibility as a matter of clinical access, not decoration. Because this service is delivered entirely online, a barrier on this website is a barrier to care. If you cannot use the site, you cannot reach treatment — so we would rather hear about a problem than have you give up.
2. The standard we follow
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard adopted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (45 C.F.R. Part 92) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act for health programs delivered through web content, and it is the benchmark used in enforcement under the Americans with Disabilities Act. It is also the standard referenced by the accessibility statutes of the states where we provide care.
3. Measures we take
- Semantic structure. Proper HTML landmarks, headings in order without skipped levels, lists, and labelled controls, so screen readers can present each page logically.
- Keyboard operation. Every interactive element — navigation, the mobile menu, buttons, the FAQ accordions, the state-eligibility check, and the intake dialog — can be operated with a keyboard alone. The intake dialog keeps focus inside itself while open, closes with the Escape key, and returns focus to the control that opened it.
- Skip link. A "Skip to main content" link is the first focusable item on every page.
- Visible focus. A high-contrast focus ring is shown on every focusable element. We never remove focus indicators.
- Color contrast. All text meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.1 AA ratio of 4.5:1, and the boundaries of interactive controls and focus indicators meet 3:1, as required by success criteria 1.4.3 and 1.4.11. We verify these ratios numerically rather than by eye.
- Not color alone. Status messages, including the notice shown when we are not licensed in your state, are conveyed with text and announced to assistive technology, not signalled by color alone.
- Touch targets. Interactive controls are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Reduced motion. We honor the operating-system "reduce motion" preference and suppress transitions when it is set.
- Responsive and zoomable. Pages reflow and remain usable at 200% browser zoom and on small screens, without horizontal scrolling.
- Alternative text. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked so they do not clutter the screen-reader experience.
- No tracking, no interruptions. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, so there is no consent banner, no pop-up, and no moving content to fight with.
4. Known limitations
We would rather name these than let you discover them:
- The secure intake form is a third-party product. Our intake is hosted by Hushmail, a HIPAA-compliant platform, and opens in a new browser tab. We do not control its code and cannot guarantee its conformance to WCAG 2.1 AA. If you have difficulty with the intake form, call us and we will complete your intake with you by phone at no cost. See Section 5.
- New content. Pages we add or revise are checked before publication, but a defect can slip through. Reports from real users are the fastest way we find them.
- Assistive-technology variation. We test against common screen readers and browsers, but combinations vary. If your particular setup behaves badly, tell us what you use and we will investigate.
- Third-party fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts. If that request is blocked, pages render in a system font. Layout and function are unaffected.
5. Another way to get care
You never have to use this website to become a patient. If any part of the site or the intake form is a barrier for you, call 531-217-5257 and we will complete your intake with you by phone, at no additional cost and with no disadvantage to you.
The clinical review, the pricing, and the outcome are identical whether you complete the intake yourself or we complete it with you.
6. Free aids and services
We provide the following free of charge to people with disabilities so they can communicate effectively with us:
- Qualified sign-language interpreters, in person or by video remote interpreting, for scheduled visits.
- Real-time captioning for video visits.
- Written materials in large print, accessible electronic formats, audio, Braille, or other alternative formats.
- Extended time when needed for effective communication.
- Assistance completing your intake, including by phone.
Free language-assistance services are also available. See our Notice of Nondiscrimination.
To request any of these, call 531-217-5257 or email Info@midwestmindandbodyhealthcare.com. Advance notice helps us arrange interpretation, but we will do our best with last-minute requests. Please do not include health information in email.
7. Feedback and complaints
If you encounter a barrier, please tell us. Describe the page and what went wrong, and include the browser and assistive technology you were using if you can — it helps us reproduce the problem.
Phone: 531-217-5257
Email: Info@midwestmindandbodyhealthcare.com (please describe the page and the barrier; do not include health information)
Mail: Midwest Mind & Body Healthcare LLC, 131 N Washington St, Suite A, Papillion, NE 68046
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and to describe our plan for fixing the issue. If a fix will take time, we will offer you an alternative way to get what you needed in the meantime.
You also have the right to file a civil-rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. You are not required to complain to us first. Details are in our Notice of Nondiscrimination.
